  • White Glove Delivery

White Glove Delivery consists of the Freight Carrier delivering the product to the customer's home and placing it inside the room of their choice. The carrier will unpack the product, assemble & test the product, instruct the customer in basic proper usage and remove all packing material from the residence. Remember, these carriers are not in any way medically trained. They will perform the basic service listed above only. The freight carrier will call the customer prior to delivery in order to set an appointment for delivery. Additional fees may apply for rural delivery. If interested in this option, please specify during checkout and all applicable fees will be applied to your order

    White Glove Delivery Service Includes:

  • Inside delivery of all Products.
  • The product will be set-up in the room of choice as long as this room is no more than one floor up or one floor down from the main entrance. (If the delivery requires more than one floor, then additional charges will apply.)
  • Complete set-up of the product.
  • Product will be visually inspected for damages or defects.
  • Product will be tested to make sure it is in proper working condition.

White Glove Delivery DOES NOT Include: The dismantling of product to fit through hallway or stairs.

Most products will fit through most homes with no problems. Since our products do not come fully assembled, they are easily carried inside in separate pieces. On occasion, a customer will ask for a delivery where the product will not fit, especially beds. It is not the responsibility of the delivering agent to take the product apart any further, just so it will fit. Dimensions on all products are provided and it is the consumer's responsibility to measure these traffic areas to make sure they fit.

    Moving of any existing furniture.

Liability issues prevent the moving of any existing furniture. It is important the consumer has prepared the area for the product to be set-up in before the delivering agent(s) arrive. For items requiring electricity, a working outlet must be present and available. If the delivering agent has to reschedule due to the area not being prepared, additional charges will apply.

    Removal/Disposal of any existing furniture.

Unless otherwise noted, the delivering agents will not remove/dispose of any existing furniture due to liability issues. If the customer needs this done, the delivering agent can be contacted to do so at an additional fee. This must be noted at the time of the order only!

Our delivery and cancellation policy applies to white glove delivery service. So if a customer refuses delivery additional fees will apply. Once the order has shipped the customer is liable for all restocking fees and freight chargers to return the item, in additional to any charges incurred (by our company)for the white glove delivery service.

  • Measure Guide

    Wheelchair/Powerchair measuring Guide

    Hip Width:
Use this to figure seat width if it is the widest point.
    Widest Point:
Measure the widest area across the lower extremities if different from the hip width. This may influence seat width or arm style.
    Chest Width:
Measure the widest point of the thorax just below the arm pit. This measurement may influence system width or back width.
    Heel to Knee:
Use this for legrest extensions and seat height.
SRP to Knee (Seat Reference Point to Knee):
This will determine the seat depth.
Elbow to SRP (Elbow to Seat Reference Point):
Measure this width with the arm in a 90 degree angle at the elbow and the shoulder in a neutral position.
    Shoulder HeightSeat back height
This will determine the height and the style of the back panel or the start for a custom back.
    Head Height:
This will help determine the proper headrest height.

    Seat Width: Diagram #

To determine the proper seat width, measure the width of your body from hip to hip (outside hip) while seating down. Please be sure to add an extra inch or so to allow for bulky clothes if relevant.

    Seat Depth: Diagram #

To determine the appropriate depth measure from the most posterior point of the body to the inside of your knee. Please be sure to remove at least 2 inches. This helps to allow for a more relaxed posture and also some individuals may prefer additional leg overhang to make room for their hand when lifting their leg.

    Seat Back Height: Diagram #

This is measured from the seat base to the top of the chair back. Often users of power chairs need upper back support. Our standard medium back support works fine.

    Front seat to Floor

Measure the leg from the back of the knee to the sole of the foot. Then subtract the thickness of the cushion when it is compressed. Next, add a minimum of two inches for footrest clearance. Do not add the footrest clearance if the chair will be foot-propelled
